Round 5 of the 2026 Pro Motocross Championship brought the stars and stripes to RedBud MX in Buchanan, Michigan, delivering an unforgettable day of racing. From Jorge Prado's podium charge to Aaron Plessinger's heartbreaking first-turn crash and Julien Beaumer battling through adversity, here's a look back at the weekend.
Jorge Prado turned in his strongest ride of the outdoor season, grabbing the holeshot in both 450MX motos and putting his speed on full display. After finishing 3rd in Moto 1, Prado led most of Moto 2 before bringing his machine home in 2nd, earning 2nd Overall and another podium finish as he continues to gain momentum in the championship.
Julien Beaumer faced a difficult afternoon in the 250MX class. Despite showing promising speed throughout the weekend, challenging starts and the demanding RedBud circuit made it tough to work forward through the field. Beaumer finished 15th in Moto 1 and 18th in Moto 2, ending the day 18th Overall.
Aaron Plessinger's RedBud unfortunately came to an end just seconds after the gate dropped. A first-turn crash in Moto 1 resulted in an injury, forcing him to withdraw from the remainder of the event before he had the opportunity to battle at the front.
