What a weekend at State Farm Stadium! The racing was intense from start to finish, with riders battling every jump, rhythm section, and whoop. Jorge Prado stole the spotlight with a 5th place finish, Aaron Plessinger held strong in 8th, Justin Hill pushed hard for 10th, and Eli Tomac fought back to 12th after an early crash. đź’Ą This race had some highs and lows but we are excited to see what Round 6 brings! đź’Ş
Jorge Prado started the night strong by setting the fastest qualifying time and carrying that speed into the races. In the Main Event, he missed the holeshot and came out of the first turn around sixth, sitting just behind early leaders like Hunter Lawrence and Justin Cooper. From there, he stayed composed in the top‑10, trading spots with Cooper and keeping a solid, consistent pace throughout the 20‑minute race. As the laps ticked away, Prado worked his way up into 5th place, holding that position to the checkered flag for another solid finish among a stacked 450SX field — another sign of his progress this season.
Aaron Plessinger got a solid start and settled into the mid‑pack early, riding clean and keeping good rhythm on the technical, high‑speed State Farm Stadium layout. Once the race settled, he stayed consistent and methodical, navigating through traffic and maintaining pace with riders around him. As the laps wound down, he held his position and brought it home in 8th place — a strong, trouble‑free ride that showed his trademark consistency in a tough field.
Justin Hill got a decent start in the Main Event and settled into the mid‑pack early against a stacked field on the fast, technical Glendale track. From there, he rode consistently and clean, maintaining pace and holding his position amid battles around him. Hill kept a steady rhythm through lap traffic and tough sections, ultimately bringing it home in 10th place with no major incidents — a solid effort in a competitive 450SX Main.
Tomac got taken out in a first‑turn crash right at the start of the Main and was forced to remount well back in the pack (around 22nd) after riding over riders at the gate drop. Once back in the race, he methodically charged forward, picking off riders one by one through the middle laps. By the closing stages, he worked his way up toward the top 15, eventually finishing 12th — a gritty recovery after a tough night that saw him lose the 450SX points lead.
