The 2026 SMX Playoffs rolled into Los Angeles for Round 2

The 2026 SMX Playoffs rolled into Los Angeles for Round 2 at Dignity Health Sports Park, and the racing delivered another action-packed night from start to finish! 🏁

The 450 class saw Jorge Prado lead the way with an impressive 2-2 moto score, earning him 1st Overall on the night. Prado also qualified P2 with a 0:49.908, putting himself right at the front of the field from the start.

Eli Tomac continued his final SMX campaign with a P9 Overall finish, going 6-12 in the motos. After an incredible career, Tomac now heads into the final race of his career with one final gate drop ahead.

🤠 Aaron Plessinger battled through the 450 field to finish 11th Overall, putting together an 8-13 moto score. Plessinger qualified P20 with a 0:51.929.

Justin Hill also put together a solid night, finishing 12-10 in the motos for 13th Overall. Hill qualified P7 with a 0:50.724, showing strong pace heading into the motos.

🔥 In the 250 class, Julien Beaumer put together one of the night's standout performances. Beaumer qualified P1 with a 0:51.096, followed it up with a 1-3 moto score, and claimed 1st Overall in the class! 🏆
