Monster Energy AMA Supercross Championship Series.
Round 3 AMA Supercross from Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA.
Red Bull KTM Factory Racing's Eli Tomac (#3) absolutely crushed it all night — winning his heat race with a decisive late move to take the lead and punch his ticket to the main event in style. In the 450SX main, Tomac battled wheel‑to‑wheel with the top contenders, rode aggressively inside the top‑five from the drop, and charged his way onto the podium for a hard‑earned 3rd‑place finish, extending his early championship momentum and keeping the red plate in hand.
Jorge Prado (#26) had a strong showing in the 450SX class. He won his heat race, leading wire-to-wire and showing excellent speed and control. In the main event, a tough start shuffled him back, but he fought through the pack to finish 7th, securing a solid top‑10 result. Overall, Prado showed speed, resilience, and growing confidence as he continues his championship campaign.
Aaron Plessinger (#7) went down heavily over the Supercross triple with about one turn to go. He managed to remount and finish eighth to transfer to the main, but ultimately didn’t finish the night due to the incident and later withdrew from the main event.
Team Tedder KTM Justin Hill (#46) had a solid night in the 450SX class. In his heat race, he finished 9th, which got him into the main event. In the 450SX main, Hill rode consistently and ultimately finished 15th overall.
Husqvarna Lites Rider Kai Aiello (#310) put in a gutsy effort in the 250SX West class — he qualified and raced in the heat, running strong throughout the moto, but finished outside the top positions and didn’t transfer directly into the main from his heat. He then contested the LCQ (Last Chance Qualifier) as he battled to keep his night alive, showing grit and determination on track, but ultimately didn’t make a big result in the main event.
