Round 3 of the 2026 AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Thunder Valley Raceway delivered another challenging day of racing as riders battled elevation, rough conditions, and stacked competition in Colorado.
In the 450 class, Jorge Prado continued building momentum in his rookie Pro Motocross campaign. The former MXGP World Champion showed impressive speed throughout the day, charging to 7th in Moto 1 before improving to 5th in Moto 2. His consistent 7-5 finishes earned him 5th Overall and another strong result as he continues adapting to the American outdoor series.
Aaron Plessinger put together a hard-fought performance aboard the Red Bull KTM Factory Racing machine. The fan favorite battled inside the top ten all afternoon, finishing 6th in Moto 1 and 7th in Moto 2. Despite the demanding track conditions, Plessinger stayed steady and collected a 7th Overall finish while continuing to add valuable points in the championship standings.
Over in the 250 class, Julien Beaumer delivered one of his best outdoor rides of the season. After crossing the line 7th in Moto 1, Beaumer stepped up the pace in Moto 2 and fought his way to an impressive 4th-place finish. His 7-4 moto scores secured 6th Overall and highlighted the speed and confidence he continues to build with each round.
As the championship heads into the next stop on the schedule, all three riders showed positive progress and delivered plenty of exciting moments throughout the day at Thunder Valley.
